You can fly from either Guangzhou or Hong Kong:

We flew with China Southern Airlines from Guangzhou to Moiyan, a short flight of around one hour (booked through a UK operator). Many flights from Hong Kong require you to change plane in Guangzhou, however there are occasional direct flights from Hong Kong - check with your travel agent.

Descending into Moiyan:

China Southern Airlines. An absolutely miniscule plane, only wide enough for three chairs per row!
